PARTY SUPPLIES AND BILLY THE EXTERMINATOR

This past week has been a continuation of the steady stream of being busy!  Monday, we celebrated Cameron's BIRTHday.

I took him out of school for a special lunch!  Only lunch and recess he missed.  I invited my sister Valerie again and we made Cameron's day!  He picked to eat at Bahama Breeze!  He had grilled fish and french fries!  He had such a special time with us!  He LOVED it so much, he thanked me, with a tear rolling down his cheek, as he went back to class!  I love him so much!  He's so special!  I think that may be my new thing to do for him on his birthday!

Later that night, after his special dinner, he opened his gifts.  He got inside his favorite one!  His hockey bag!  He actually can fit inside!

Moving through the week, I was busy working on my cousin Janet's daughter's birthday party supplies.  Her daughter Audrey is turning two and is having a Mickey Mouse themed party!  So cute!  It matches her cheerful spirit!  She's always so smiley and happy!  I hope she looks so cute in the hat!

This week ended with a great experience for Cameron with the continuation of his birthday gifts!  We took him to meet Billy the Exterminator at the convention center!  The kid was so excited!  He wore his alligator shirt and gator tooth necklace!

Closer and Closer we got in line!

Then finally, Cameron got to meet one of his idols!  He was so nervous!  Billy pointed out his gator shirt and gator tooth!  Oh that made Cameron's day!  Billy was very nice and great with the kids!  He signed pictures for the kids.

Then we talked with Billy's dad, Big Bill!  He signed our pictures while talking to us and snapped a picture, too!  All in all, I think Cameron had a great birthday to remember!

HAPPY 8TH BIRTHDAY, CAMERON!

It has been busy the past two weeks!  From preparing for Cameron's party, to taking Haley to and from volleyball practice, and then bam! a snowstorm, followed by another!  Unfortunately, only two of Cameron's friends could make it to his party.  The snow made it difficult for people to drive on the roads.  But on with the PARTY!

Cameron, Emma, Ryan, and Timmy in their tents under the stars!

The campfire was made perfect by my sister Valerie.  I'm so lucky she came to help out!

Cameron quickly ran upstairs and put on his Camouflage gear for the camping party!

We made personal pizzas with mini pepperoni!  The kids loved making their own!

The party treats table was made with the Make-your-own-trail-mix bar, s'mores to take home, their goodie bags, and canteens!

While the pizzas were cooking in the oven, the kids went on their nature hunt!

Pizzas were finished.  Boy, they worked up an appetite from looking for bugs!

Unfortunately, while I was busy cleaning up the table from pizzas, the kids played the fishing game!  I didn't really get any pictures!  This was the last fish left to be caught!

Cameron and Timmy decided to show me their stuff!  Timmy caught a BIG fish!  Cameron found a snake!

Then they asked if I could take a picture of all the bugs, snakes, and fish they caught!  Too cute!

Then the boys decided to cook their fish on the campfire!  Ryan's idea!  Hey Mom!  Look at my fish!!!

With cooking over the campfire in mind, it was time for s'mores!  Even Haley enjoyed them!

After a little more camping, it was time to sing Happy Birthday to Cameron!  His cake was decorated beautifully by my sister Valerie!  Cameron thought it was the greatest cake ever!  A boy with his critters!

Happy 8th Birthday, Cameron!  I hope your wishes all come true!  We love you!

Update on Cameron's Camping Party

Things have picked up again at The Ward House!  Josh and I celebrated our 13th anniversary last week.  Happy Anniversary to the most amazing husband ever!  I love you with all my heart!

Josh had to work that day and I drove to his work to have lunch with him.  But that didn't work.  5 cars in front of me was an accident and I sat on the bridge for 45 minutes before I turned around to go back home.  The accident was so bad that it took 2 hours to clean it up and restore the traffic flow.  I was only steps from existing the bridge and overtop of his work.  Oh well....next time!

We went out for dinner with the kids and came home to find that his parents flew in Maine lobsters for us!  They were sitting on the door step waiting for us.  Cameron had lots of fun with them!  He named this one Frank!

The weekends have been a little crazy since Cameron and Ryan are in the winter hockey league.  They love to play!

Ryan lost his first tooth this week!  Boy that was excitement in our house!

Then we've been playing around....making balloon animals and snowmen in our chocolate syrup!

But I've had time to complete some of Cameron's party things!  The tents are complete.

Canteens, s'mores tags, trail mix bags, fish for fishing, scavenger hunt lists, "Camp Cameron" sign for the banquet door, and campground signs all are finished!

The individual signs for their tents have been scrapped.  Things were getting busy around here again with me being sick again!  Nothing too bad this time.  The campfire and stars will have to wait until Friday!
