THE START OF SCHOOL

The kids started back to school!  Yay for me!  I'm so excited to have some time for myself!  I know it's horrible to say, but come on moms, really, you know it's nice to have some free time to think!  My daughter entered eighth grade, still in the high school, and has all scholars classes.  She loves to hang out with her friends and boyfriend at the football game!  I'm so proud of her.
(My daughter is the blond on the left...she's with her friends at a football game.  She accidently deleted her first day of school photo.)

My oldest son is now in third grade, likes to read finally (a big accomplishment for him), and is making some new friends this year.  I am SO PROUD of him!  Finally, he likes to read chapter books!

My youngest, the baby of our family is in second grade!  Can you believe it!?  Second grade!  He has the same teacher as Cameron had last year.  But he switches classes this year!  He has Spelling and Reading with his teacher from kindergarten (she switched to second grade), Math with another teacher, and only homeroom and social studies with the homeroom teacher.  That's a lot of switching, but he is a smart one and needs the higher classes so he's not bored!  He wasn't happy the first day of school because I booted him from the TV.  It shows in the picture!

My husband is still not officially back yet.  Instead of DC, he is now in Harrisburg until Sunday!  The restaurant has been pushed back to opening in December.  Every time Josh comes home to visit, we drive and take a visit with the restaurant site.  This past week we visited as the kids were in school and met with the construction manager.  That made Josh's day!  We will have our trailer on site in two more weeks!  Josh is more than excited!

As for me, I've been busy working and cleaning, taking care of the kids and my husband, and family.  I painted the doors in the house and the hallway upstairs.  I scheduled Ryan's birthday party for friends at the farm!  Pumpkin picking!  I waited this year until school started to celebrate his birthday with friends.  I can't wait to take lots of pictures of his ANGRY BIRDS pumpkin picking birthday party!  After that, I will try to write more posts, more often!  It's been crazy here!

Until next time.....
