Redoing the Dining Room

You all have heard me saying, "Well, we've been busy."  But really we have been!  Josh (my husband) came home one day and said to pick out everything I wanted for the dining room.  I just got a new dining table and chairs for Christmas, plus the bench.  So, I gave it some deep thought.  I looked through some of my favorite blogs and pinterest.  Finally I came up with something.  Nothing too extravagant for me.  I am a very simple person.  I like function and purpose.  Josh decided to have a chair rail and new base boards.  He wanted to test it out and see if he could actually do it all by himself.  Here's our step by step of the days to redo our dining room so far.  (Not finished because Josh has to go away for work.)
Painting the top half the Olive green/ mud.
Josh torn off the old baseboard.
Happy Josh as he puts up the chair rail.
Still measuring and putting up.
Looking good!
Cameron helping dad out with measuring for the baseboard.
Ryan came in to see what was going on and help.
Ryan came to help me with painting the bottom half white.
Then Cameron needed to help.
The first coat of white paint on the bottom after Josh put up the new baseboard.
The cresent piece of the baseboard is placed.
Here's a look with curtains.

I would show you the entire room, but it's not complete.  Still waiting on my cabinet and computer desk area.  With Josh having a full schedule, the rest will have to wait until the fall.
